I used it for about 5 months prior to doing my first IVF. I was actually very impressed with it. It did take several months before it got to the point where I wasn't having to use a huge number of test cartridges (I have irregular cycles and ovulate much later than most so I'm sure that was part of the problem). I was actually also using it just so I'd have a general idea of when AF would show up (i.e. when I got the egg symbol, I knew AF would show in 16 days).

Good luck!

The monitor is very accurate. I have been ttc for about 11 mos now. The first time I used it, everything progressed as normal. (low, high, peak) When I saw that first egg, I was elated! "I'm not broken--I have an egg!!) was alll I could say. Then I did not get another egg until this month when my RE put me on clomid/glucophage for PCOS. So not only was it helpful in diagnosing a problem, but I am in the 2ww to see if it could have helpled me conceive this time. Good luck to you. God bless.

We used that monitor to decide when to use AI for this surrogacy. I charted with it for about 4 months before we tried anything, to make sure we had an idea. It did work for us.

I can also tell you it was pretty accurate because I can feel when I ovulate, and it was always on a peak day.

I did not, however, always get a "high" day the day before my peak. I usually had two peak days. Generally either very late in the first peak day (like bedtime), or early the next day, I would feel ovulation.

I used the monitor 3years ago when i got pregnant with my daughter, i think i used it 3 months or so. The month i got pregnant i peaked. Now trying to get pregnant with #2 and just finding out 2 months ago i have pco im trying the monitor again. This is also my second month on clomid, 100mg....well this month i "peaked" on day 16 i think and later that day i felt ovulation....but then reading about the monitor, it says you should use it if you are taking more then 50mg of clomid....So i sorta got bummed out....but i really think i O'd that day....

Has anyone else used the monitor while taking Clomid? Did it work for you?

ty, Liv

HI I USED THE CLEARPLAN EASY FERTILITY MONITOR TWICE IN THE PAST AND BECAME PREGNANT WITHIN THE 1ST MONTH OF USING IT AND THE NEXT TIME I USED IT I BECAME PREGNANT WITHIN THE 2ND MONT. UNFORTANATELY THEY WERE BOTH ECTOPIC PREGNANCIES. I REALLY AND TRULY CAN SAY IT REALLY IS AN EXCELLENT OULATION PREDICTOR MONITOR TO HAVE AND USE.

I use one now. Unfortunately, it has not resulted in a pregnancy. However, I do really like the little device. It is very helpful and incredibly accurate. It was suggested to me by some friends that had heard of many success stories from using it. Just something to know, if you use clomid, it can throw the monitor off. My RE told me to not test while I am taking the pills, even if the monitor is telling you to test. Wait until you have taken your last pill and start testing the following morning. Then it should read accurately.

I brought one off ebay. I used it for for about 4 months. It should show my ovulation day, but it was costly, especially since I'm irregular and dh was still an e4 at the time.
