Cortana Level 1
Hello

Hi all, I have a 6wk dd that was dx with reflux a couple weeks ago. Our ped recommened 1/2 tsp mylanta as needed and if it doesn't help then we'll move on to Zantac. My younger ds also had reflux so it's not really new to us. In fact I suspected reflux pretty much right from day one, although the nurses at the hospital kept saying oh no it's too early.

I'm wondering if anyone notices that their child's reflux is worse at night? Katie seems to do just fine during the day and I really haven't had to give her any medicine in the daytime, but nearly every night she screams and cries and we have to give her a dose of mylanta with every feeding.

When we were trying to figure out what was going on, we found that the evening hours were the worst time for reflux related crying.
