Great Book for Colic/GERD
I found a great new book at our local library. It is by a pediatric gastroenterologist. He believes that many babies who are diagnosed with 'colic' really have reflux. It is very concise and an easy read. It also has a chapter on milk/formula allergies causing symptoms similar to GERD.

"Colic Solved: The Essential Guide to Infant Reflux and the Care of Your Crying, Difficult to sooth Baby." By Bryan Vartabedian, M.D.

I highly recommend this book. It puts a lot of information in one place. From info on 'happy spitters' to what happens if surgery is recommended to correct severe GERD.

Does it deal with toddlers or just newborns?

Yes, it did. I didn't read those sections too thoroughly as it doesn't apply to us. I took it back to the library, otherwise I'd tell you more.
