DD finally off Prevacid at 2 yr 11 months!

Just thought I would post that our DD is finally off meds! It is actually very exciting since we tried to take her off every 3 months since she was 9 months old. We even had an endoscopy and ph probe done in April... I guess she just needed more time.

Figured there are some other long-timers here and had to share the news! Hopefully those of you with babies will not be here too long. It can be so difficult having a child with reflux, and when I think back to her first year how hard it was (we were on Zantac, then Prilosec, then Prevacid at 9 mo).

We saw our GI dr on Wed and he release us from his care... she did have one weird vomitting right after she drank a sippy of milk, but other than that it has been just mild (some hiccups, indigestion). We can talk over the counter stuff when needed.

Such a big relief! And last week my baby turned 3! All I can say is Wow!
