Question Unable to conceive. Pls help

    Hello Everyone,
I am 26 years old married for 2 + years now and have been trying to concieve for a long time now. I am obese, about 230lbs. I just completed 1 cycle of clomid+HCG trigger which even though yielded 1 follicle 20mm size and ovulation their after, with out any positive result. I have been through a series of tests which include, thyroid, LH,FSH, Serum prolactin, ovary size ect. My ob/gyn didnot find any issue wid me except for my weight. I am tyring to loose my weight wid healthy eating and walking for an hour. but for m e to come in normal category wud take a hell lota time and i am pretty anxious to concieve currently.
What really cud be wrong, as i have regular cycles, ovulated properly, had intercouse almost veryday for 10 days in the fertile period of the cycle..
It would be great anyone can throw light on why after ovulution and sex i couldnt concieve?

Just curious...have you thought of hubby having a sperm analysis done? The problem may be a combination of things, but your husband should have an SA done, if anything, to rule it out as a problem. There are so many bases to cover when diagnosing for infertility, it helps to be as comprehansive as possible.

    Good luck on your journey!!

    Hi babby,

I do think you should have your partner's fertility tested, but also you might consider speaking to a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE). The RE can run a fertility work up, possibly more in depth than the OB/GYN. You will also have more closely monitored cycles (potentially with better control/manipulation to make sure you are producing follicles). I can help you get more information about the RE depending on your location, if you are interested. You can PM me or email kim@fertilityauthority.com

Best of luck in your journey!
