Overweight and starting first IVF cycle

Hi all......sorry I've been MIA. It's been a rough couple of weeks. I had my pregnancy test last week and it was negative. I'm actually switching doctor's and I have an appointment this Thursday. I feel like it's a fresh start moving forward.

Raining......how are you? Have you started your stims yet? Hope all is well!

Mel - sorry. I was hoping that wasn't the reason you were quiet. At least a fresh start, consult tomorrow with a new doc and all can give you something to look forward to. Keep us posted how things go at the appointment. My baseline was yesterday and I was a bit of a spaz (blogged back that) but 11 is the antral follicle count. Stims start tomorrow morning and back again on Monday.

Hi all.......sorry for being MIA again. I'm having a hard time dealing and it's putting stress on the marriage. I feel like we have been fighting more. This has been such an emotional roller coaster ride. We did see the new RE and he was straightforward and extremely nice. I felt way more comfortable with him than my old RE. My DH even said that he was more comfortable with the new RE. We are just waiting to hear back from the nurse coordinator on when we will start. I prefer waiting until August. I am enjoying my break!

mel- sorry to hear about the stress its putting on your marriage, we havnt started yet but we got into a argument today i start my meds July 2. im extreemly nervous. Rain has been so much help to me she has been talking me throught everything!!! let us knw what happens with the coord!!!! ill be praying for you

Mel - glad to see you back and to hear that the appt with the new RE makes you (and DH) feel comfortable. I think that sense of relationship and comfort does help.

AFM - Had retrieval on Father's Day but have been oversuppressed with lupron so was seeing 5 follies, got 7, 3 were mature and ICSI'ed. I just got this update: Nurse called an hour or so ago and said 11am tomorrow but she knew nothing of embryos. I called the embryologist and left a message and he just called back. Said he doesn't look at them much today but last time he did look, still 3. Said he will look at them tomorrow, grade and speak with me when I get there. Said we will decide then how many to transfer hoping we have as many as possible to discuss. I said I want to go for broke if 3. He said if they are all great quality, only time he may challenge that otherwise we'll see. So still hoping and praying for good news tomorrow

Yay!!! raining still a 3!!!! thats how many you have wanted to transfer ill be praying all is well with them and you ..... i cant believe your transfer is tomorrow !!!!!!!!!! how exciting!!
