What next...(pg and child ment)

My husband and I have been trying for almost 5 years to have another child. We did up to four clomid a day for a few months then we did femara with meth. we've also did anyone med but I can't think of it right now. For the past year we've been off all meds just taking a brake. But last month we did a dye test to check if there was any blockage in my tubes and the test came out fine. He said everything looked good. We're suppose to set up an appt. for a comsult to see what our next step should be.
Does anyone have any idea what I should suggest?
All we know is my husbands count is "excellent" (above normal he was excited!!), my tubes look good and I don't ovulate. We got pg the 1st month with our son and I have only used bc for about 7 months after he was born.
I would love any advice.
Thank you

Hi and Welcome!

Sounds like injections is going to the next road. I did all the clomid and pill popping I could handle and nothing worked. I moved to Repronex. 3amps everyday for 5 days w/ trigger shot and BMS (baby making sex) to get my son here.

Sometimes the pill are just not enough. Even though your body has done it once the same amount the next time around might not to do the trick.

When is your next appointment? Is doing injections okay w/ you?

My doctors appt is on the 10th of July. We are suppose to discuss our other ideas. We had our first son natural it was the first month we had sex. That's why this is all so confessing to me.
I don't know much about the shots. I heard it's pretty hard on your body but I haven't researched it enough to know much. What was it like for you?

Do you have PCOS?

Injections are tuff, but I did them for 3 months. The first two were a bust. The third month I got pregnant. I couldn't ovulate. My follies just wouldn't get big enough. I tell you though...it was a bonding time w/ DH and I. I think he got out some anger issues.

PCOS, yes that's the only thing they can tell me!
I don't ovulate. I produce follies that never mature. The closes I ever got to ovulating has a 11.5 and you have to be 12 to have slight ovulation.
That's funny about your husband I could see mying doing the same thing!! : )
Maybe I will suggest the shot but I remember when we first started different meds that he suggested me not to do the shot. I'll have to ask why and if it's still a possiblity this go around.

Normally PCOS is the escape route. Just easier to pin it on that I guess.

Have you tried dexamethasone? It's suppose to make the shell of your follie thinner so it can pop out better.

At least you have some reaction w/ the pills though. That's a really good thing. Maybe just a small dose of injections might do the trick.
