Question What can I expect?

Hi,
My husband and I have been TTC unsuccessfully for about 10 months. I'll be 35 next month.
I spoke to my gyno's office, and she says she doesn't want to see me until hubby is tested. Her office does preliminary testing, so I'll go to her first (I'm very comfortable with her and that helps the anxiety of this whole thing a little).
My question is....what can I expect? What kind of tests will they do? She mentioned blood tests, but what else do they do?
I have extremely regular periods (you can set your watch by them), but when I tried an OPK it never told me I was surging....Can you have regular periods and still not ovulate?
I feel like I just fell through the rabbit hole and there is a very confusing world in front of me.
Can anyone offer some sage advice or words of comfort?

Welcome to the board Kissiesuz. I'm sorry you are going through a rough time. Hopefully it will quickly be passed and easily too.

The first tests are normally pretty basic. They just want to see why you are not ovulating. Maybe do a songram to look at your ovaries. Check your FSH level. They normally do that on cycle day 3. Check your tubes with an HSG. Not al pleasent experience, but can be a quick one. Of course test hubby's count.

Having regular cycles is a GOOD thing. You'll be able to make appointments and take tests easily. Has your husband ever been tested for anything?

Always remember that Alice got out of the rabbit hole. You will too.
