Question advice needed from other full figured ladies TTC naturally (previous PG/MC mentioned)

DH and I have been TTC the old fashioned way for the last two years. 6 years ago we had a surprise pregnancy and he was stillborn at 26 weeks. I haven't been on birth control in three years. Currently about 35-40 lbs overweight. All fertility blood tests we took (just the preliminary ones) said I was normal, no PCOS or diabetes or anything. Lost insurance before we could do any in depth testing. Anyone have any ideas why we might not be getting pregnant? At home ovulation kits show an LH surge.

Did your dr do a scan on your ovaries? That's really the only way to tell if you have PCOS. PCOS can cause false surges also. Do you get AF every month?

Sorry for all the questions.

Goodness. Have you thought about taking some herbs or something to help boost the egg quailty?

I really don't know if those "few" lbs are enough to cause IF. I used to be 50lbs over the highest healthy BMI for my height and successfully conceived 2X. (I've lost about 1/2 of that for about 2 yrs and now am having problems conceiving. Despite knowing it's MF, I find myself not wanting to keep the weight off... coo-koo huh?! )

When you say your DH's #'s are fine, can you tell us what that means? Our RE said normal is 20 mill. He also said it's much hard to get preggo with even as little as "5 mill motile"

Also, whenever the Doc says my or DH's hormones are "normal", I go online and double check to mak sure he's not sugar coating things.

Are you BDing every other day prior to O-ing or are you waiting until you get a surge? The former method is reccomended by many Docs.

HTH!
