Cool Provera and Clomid

Hey everyone!im kinda newish here, i dont have many posts up yet, but i have been trying for over 2 years to concieve and my doc just recently put me on provera and clomid. Im on pill 7/10 and still no AF. i was just wondering if anyone knows when i can expect to start. Also, the provera has been giving me pimples and i get really tired after taking it. Is this normal or could i be pregnant? Well any advice or personal experiences would really help, thank you!

From my years of taking Provera to bring on AF I generally will get AF 1~10 days after my last Provera pill. It is very unpredictable when it comes to knowing for sure when AF will show. Provera is used to bring on AF so you can take the clomid to help you ovulate.
What is you history???

Provera always gives me mood swings and no pimples for me. Tired is very normal too for me when I take Provera. I think what you are feeling on the Provera is very normal. I would say most likely you will not get AF until after you take your last pill and it may take a few days for it to begin. Also you might spot until you get full flow and spotting is not conceried AF so you do not count that as day 1.
I been around the block a little with this stuff if you have any specific questions ask I will try and help you dear.
What is your dose of Clomid?
How old R U If you dont mind ?
R U seeing an OB or RE?

AFM~ Here is a little of my history. 6 cycles of Clomid No Ovulation Dose up to 250mg. 2 Cycles of Femara No response. 5 Injection cycles with Repronex, Follistim, Menopur. Have been PG 3 times all ended in m/c.
I am currently working to lose 10% of my weight before I try another Injcetion IUI cycle.
I have been DX with PCOS.
Hope this helps a little

I just did my first recent (previous was years ago) round of Provera. I started discharging on pill 9/10 and flowing two days after two days after pill 10.

The side effects I experienced were tiredness (extreme tiredness at times), the unability to focus, some random rapid heart beat which was pretty strange but just a few times, and pretty much overall mentally blah. I did breakout a little bit too.

None of these things were to the point of the unbearable level but they did last on and off until around pill 9.

For me, Provera worked about 1 - 5 days after last pill. This round I got it on Day 4 after my last pill.

Also, Provera is a hormone pill, it may cause things like acne or cramping or even nausea (I had bad nausea with Prometrium 100mg).
If you normally get pimples before or with your AF, then that could explain it.

I'm on my first round of Clomid after 3 years of TTC. Good luck and baby dust to you.

Oh, Luv, my doc said that if I spotted during Provera that I need to count that as Day 1 of my cycle, because it means that my uterus is doing the withdrawal, even if it doesn't go on from there. Do you suppose that's because I didn't take to the Prometrium 100mg??
