Prengancy Test after IUI *pg and bfp ment*

Hi everyone,

I just have a question. I did a cycle of IUI with injectables (Follistim) this cycle. I triggered Tuesday, and than had my IUI on Thursday. I was wondering if anyone could tell me when the soonest to take an HPT would be. My RE scheduled my test for January 5, due to the holidays and this office being closed for non timely matters. So I have no idea, I just know I can't wait that long.

Thanks & Baby Dust!!!!

Hi Zany!

I think that you should be safe on the 26-27th. You want to make sure you are getting a positive from the trigger and get a big ole positive from your little one growing in there.

Good luck to you. Keep us posted! I would love some good baby news before the year is out.

In 2007, I had back-to-back IUIs -- one on December 19th, the other on December 20th. I had my blood test scheduled for December 31st and on the evening of December 30th, while a chicken was roasting in the oven and my husband was sitting on the throne (LOL!), I decided "what the hell", and went to use the 1/2 bath with pregnancy test in hand.

I was so used to these always (ALWAYS ALWAYS) being negative ... but not this time! It was positive a whopping 10 days after my last IUI.

I sincerely wish you the best of luck and hope you finally get a positive result!

Ok so after a few minutes I looked at the test on the table again and now a faint line showed up. Am I pregnant? It was like 5 minutes after taking it?!?! I am so confused!!

pg ment

You are still early. I didn't test positive until 14dpo and even then it was faint. My dr was going to tell me it was negative, but after 3 minutes it finally showed up.

What brand are you using? There should be a time limit on the test. Don't look after that time limit is up. A line is good thing. Hopefully you'll test in the morning too.

I tested with a first response. I am now 12 dpiui 14 past trigger and I took another test this morning. It was positive this time faster definitely within the 3 minutes. I read the box and it said positive results will last 3 days past the test. So I looked at all the other tests and the faint line is still there. I just hope this isn't the trigger shot making the test positive.
I don't have any other symptoms. I am thinking about calling the doc and telling him, I just don't want to not believe it you know? The doc didn't want me in for blood work until Jan. 5, which seems like forever away.

Thank you so much!! I hope you are right I may go get the digital one. I just really don't want it to be the trigger!! I am so worried I am getting excited over nothing.
