Lots of Clomid and Lots of Follistim

This is my first injectibles round.

I normally take 200mgs of Clomid for 5-7 days and get one egg w/ Ovulation usually happening after CD20.

This time around I am taking 200mgs of Clomid and 150IU of Follistim from CD3-7. Does anyone think this is too much??

I have heard of it before. I have read quite a few others mention taking similar dosing of oral and injectables together. So I dont think you are at all alone here.

For my 1st IUI I was on 50mg of clomid and did not ovulate. The 2nd round it was increased to 150 and I only had 1 egg. I guess this means I will be on a lot higher doses when I do my 1st round of IVF. I'll post once I'm on the meds. Just waiting for AF to show up to start the process.
