First time IVF Just started Lurpon injections

Hello, I'm new to this and just want to talk to fellow ivf. I started my first lupron injection today. It wasn't bad at all. I thought I would faint by giving myself shots! Please advise how your first Lurpon or stims were. Do you take the Lupron same time everyday? How does it make you feel?

I'm first time IVF and just started Lupron on the 25th. So far, I don't feel anything with it. The BCP bother me a lot more.

HI! I started Lupron on the 29th (yesterday!). The first one was bad!! Left a bruise. Tonight's was MUCH better! Barely felt it!! My paperwork says to take it between 7-9 pm. I take it at 8:45ish. My RE put together a DVD and said to take you meds the same time everyday, so I'm trying.

My transfer is around the end of the month or Oct 1st...we'll see, can't wait!!

babysumrall - My target date is the 16th, but it could be sooner. They expect me to respond very fast because of the PCOS and that I was so resistant to Clomid.

I am starting my first IVF too! I did my first Lupron short this morning.
Does anyone else do the shots in the morning. When I start stims I will do them in the morning and at night.

I have taken 3 shots of Lupron and I still have no side effects yet, not even any that the doctor warned about. Have you had any side effects from the Lupron?

I had no effects at all from the Lupron. I'm now into stims and just 5units Lupron. The stims seemed to give me a fuzzy feeling for a little while, but other than that I don't feel much. Some people get Lupron headaches, but none here.

I haven't had any side effects either!! It's kinda scary because I was expecting something I'm almost to the point to ask my Dr for a stronger dose b/c I'm overweight! I just hoping everthing goes OK. I start my stims Monday.
I'm so excited! I'm nervous as well. I stopped all my caffeine and alcohol drinks 2 months ago. I pray everyday!
