When to START exercising.....????

This may seem like an odd question...but I am not a very "exercise focused" individual to say the least lol. I have wanted to start exercising but I am afraid to start doing a cycle as in my directions it says "no strenuous exercise." Well I am afraid for me that may be everything lol. I had thought about trying to start walking, but I am smack dab in the middle of my 2ww (injectibles and BMS). Would you think of walking as OK or should I wait? I know exercise is good for pregnancy but I an not so sure how good it is to START exercise in the middle of a 2ww.

TIA!

I would double check with your RE obviously but walking should be ok as long as you start slow. Start by taking a 20 minute walk around the neighborhood 3 times a week on non consecutive days. Again each RE is different so check with yours. Mine said exercising was ok as long as it non strenuous meaning racquetball, football, tennis, etc. Even cycling is ok in my RE's book as long as I don't overdo it. Definitely give their office a call though.

I wanted to let you all know what happened to me recently. I was just at the end of day 5 on Clomid and I decided to pop in an exercise tape. I was about half-way through the 40 minute exercise and I started getting a stitch in my side. I decided I didn't want to over do it, not to mention that I was already struggling to keep good form, so I stopped. I kept walking in place to try to cool down, but then I started having severe pain in my abdomen. I have endometriosis, so it kinda felt like it does when the nodules burst (this happens to me like clockwork every month, VERY painful). I tried sitting down, it didn't help. I ended up laying down on the bed for about an hour waiting for the pain and nausea to stop. This has never happened to me before. I was really worried I had messed something up inside. The pain eventually subsided and I had an US the next day and they didn't mention that anything looked out of place. I won't do that again. Now I stick to walking 30 minutes a day.
