Horizon72...Checking Up On You

Just wondering when you are starting your cycle? Are you getting excited? Thinking about you.

Irish, you are SO sweet

Yes, I am pretty excited and can't wait to start cycling again. Thanks for asking . It has been a long break for me. The estimated date for my CD1 is 05/14 and I will be using injectables for the first time..yuck! I will hopefully have my 4th DIUI around the Memorial Day Holiday.

I have a strong feeling that the injectables will do the trick for me

My RE will probably be pretty disappointed with me since I really didn't loose any weight. Oh well... To be honest with you, as long as I can conceive and have a healthy pregnancy, I really don't care about the weight issues.

How are you doing?

I am so glad you are getting ready for your injections. I tell you...I use to have a huge fear of needles. Not the tattoo kind, because I have tattoos, but injections and blood draws would make me pass out. IF took that all away for me. My hubby says that shooting me in my hip every night brought us closer together. I think it's because he got all his anger out for the by stabbing me. LOL.

Are you taking anything to make AF come on? Or is it just sit around and wait? What injections are you going to be taking?

I wouldn't worry about the weight to much either. Just more cushion for the little one. LOL.

All is well in my neck of the woods. Hubby coming home soon and I am getting really excited about!

LOL. I told my husband the same. I asked him if he could do the injections to me and said, "this is your chance for getting back to me". LOL. But he said "I know better. If I hurt you, I will hear about it for the rest of my life!"... HA HA HAHA.. Smart guy He was joking of course, but he didn't really wanted to do it, because he is afraid of hurting me more than I am afraid of needles.

My mom is a registered MA, so she will be helping me with the shots. Thank God!

I am not taking anything for AF to come because I already have regular cycles. In fact it is working like a clock. Never a day late or a day early. So I am just sitting around and waiting for the time to pass till 5/14.

My RE prescribed me Lapori. I am not sure how many units a day I will be doing or how often. I guess they will tell me all that when I go in on my CD1 for baseline b/w and u/s. I wonder if he will keep me on Metformin... I hope NOT.

I would continue with the Metformin. There is something about that medication with the combination of others that is just something worth the hassell. I stopped taking now that I have the end result....LOL

I told my hubby that I should have video taped the injections so that when the little one starts acting up I can pop it out and show him/her all the trouble that I went through to get him/her here.

Make sure you do every other side with the injections. It's sooo much easier that way. If you like to sleep on your side like I do...it's easier to have one that you can sleep on then the other. LOL.

Just need to vent

I am 36 pcos numerous mcs and 1 ectopic. I 5ft 3 in and weigh 222 lbs, I am frustrated cause I just gained back all the weight i just lost. I have been very sick with chronic bronchitis and asthma. I just got my hand held nebulizer this week. The Predinsone over the past 8 weeks has been killing me. I am so bloated from it that I cant completely close my mouth. TG my lips are sealed but my jaw wont close cause my face is so swollen that my cheeks get in the way of my teeth and i can't close my mouth. I feel so fat and ugly and huge. I cut out the sugar and salt while taking the prednisone. I'm just so tired and frustrated. I hate the way this stuff makes me feel. I feel like a balloon. Alot of my pants no longer fit. my eyes and face are puffy. I am dying to go for walks again but i'm still too sick for that. I see the pulmonary dr on the 14th. I seriously can't wait to go for walks and get back to the normal life i had almost 9 weeks ago when this all started. TTC is on hold. I am seriously thinking about being on hold till I can loose a large amount of weight because if i feel this bad now how bad will I feel if I get prego and I get even bigger. Thanks for letting me vent. Just tired and frustrated here in altamont ny. HUGS and babysdust to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
