    Checking in...

Well, I have done well this week so far. I worked out Monday and yesterday I mowed the lawn. I think that should count as excercise since it is over half an acre and I used the push mower. But, I am really down. I got on the scales Monday, the first time since I got my BFN. I am UP to 240. I am so discouraged. The RE told me that I would gain some with the meds, but 12 pounds??? I am going to keep on keeping on, but hopefully it won't be too long before I am back down to 228. I just don't see me making my under 200 by the time I cycle again.

Celia, well done on mowing the yard. That does indeed count for exercise! I can understand that you may be feeling down but remember between the meds and the normal fluctuation in our cycles, you may not have acutally gained 12 pounds. Around the time of AF for me, I always weigh several pounds heavier due to bloating, water weight gain. If you gained the 12 pounds in a short period of time, chances are it's water. Drink lots of water and try to avoid salt and carbonated drinks, and the pounds will probably melt back off.

Once again Good job on the exercise and keep up the great work!
