Hi ladies,

I just did a natural FET on Saturday, 7/9. I decided to test out the HCG trigger so went to the dollar tree today and bought 10 hpts. I took 5000 units on 7/4, 2500 on 7/7 and another 2500 on 7/10. And I got a BFN! There is no way the hcg is actually out of my system, right?

I know the dollar tree tests are cheap but with all these hormones running through my body surely I would see a positive. Not sure what in the world to think.

I am pretty sure it is out! I always test at 8 days after trigger every time to make sure it is out (I have triggered 10 times) and I have never once seen a hint of a line... I think you are good to go

I believe it is supposed to be 1,000 per day should go out of your system.

Thanks so much for your input. I have been testing with the Dollar Tree tests each morning and have seen a super faint almost ghost like positive each day. It is not getting lighter or darker. I am now 5 days past trigger of 2500 and tested with a FRER and it was positive. So not sure what to attribute it to. I will definitely test again tomorrow to see if the line gets lighter or darker. I know for my fresh cycle and a few IUIs 10000 units of HCG was out of my system in about 7-8 days so cautiously hoping this is the real deal.

BC-sun8 - I know the sticks are evil but I can't help my self. True POAS addict. Since I am mostly using the cheapos I don't feel so bad about wasting the money. I find that it is easier for me emotionally to gradually get used to the idea of a failed cycle. Of course, hoping this is the time I won't have to get used to that idea at all.
