    Question about acupunture

We are getting ready for FET in Sept. and it will be our last I am praying. I have decided that I'm going to pull out all the stops for this one. Going to try the raspberry tea and acupunture I hope. My question is how much tea and when do you start drinking it? and when do you start with an acupunturist(sp)? I have not had any issues with lining in the past. In fact my RE said I had a textbook # for lining on our last fresh transfer 7/7 but I still had a bfn.I have been reading all the good outcomes from it so I figure why not. Do I need to look for one that specializes with infertility ? Any advice I would appreciate. Thanks.

    Bonnie....

I can't say enough good things about Accupuncture. My RE doesn't believe in it, however, I have seen too many people on these boards just like you, "pulling out all the stops" and adding it and that seems to be the one that works. Wether or not it is sufficant.....it can't hurt. I would start as soon as you can, find someone who knows about IVF issues and let them guide you. It's worth a shot, and at this point, what do you have to lose. Good Luck....once you find one, they will be able to guide you on how they handle situations like this.

Please post your update, will be interested to hear how things went. Good Luck.

Added: Since I have been doing Accupuncture, my AF's have been bright red (sorry if that's TMI) which means that I am getting totally cleaned out each time, not having any left over blood, which I think has to be a very positive thing. From what I have read, it's very healthy for your lining.

I have also heard that Rasberry Tea (a few cups a day) is very good to build your lining also. You can get on made my "traditional medicinals" that provides what you need to help with that. I think you start drinking it right after your AF has stopped.

Pineapple is something I have heard of that helps with implantation after the transfer too....so you might want to try that too.....of course...keep in mind, this is just stuff that is word of mouth, but the way I say, it's can't hurt you, so why not try it all!!!

    Thanks Blsed4life,
I will be looking for someone in my area right away. My DH thinks its strange but he says go for it if you want to. Everyone says such positive about it I figure it must be helping.

I did the pineapple thing last fall for my last FET with no luck. It seemed like everyone was talking about pineapple then, I don't hear much now about it.Seems like things run in cycles.

Good luck to you this fall. You have been through hoops enough I pray your dreams come true soon.

    Currently doing accupuncture

    Dear Momtotwins:
I am scheduled for my FET tomorrow and have been doing accupuncture for the past 6-days. My RE recommended it for me and it has done wonders for my blood flow and lining. Good luck with your search.

P.S. I'm planning on eating pineapple tonight!!
