I feel "normal"

I might be overthinking this but I don't feel any different. My transfer was Friday and I rested all weekend. So far I haven't had implantation spotting or any cramping, no twinges or pangs. During my fresh cycle in March I didn't feel anything either. I am not letting it affect me, honest. I just wonder how many people never feel a thing. My bb's are sore from the PIO, I am sure; it was the same back in March. I am not even feeling too bloated - scary!

Any perspective would be appreciated. I know everyone's different and that's why I am not trying to over analyze it at all - I am just wondering if anyone else has these same feelings (or lack thereof).

Thanks!
Brandi

See, if this was an exact science, then we would know if you were pg already or not. Bahahahahaha... Oh the torture... The every twinge, the every body temp change... the "O" while dreaming.. oh..... if it were so easy we would all not be so insane about this now would we?

I so hope you can hang in there... I know the wait time is torture, but we are here for you to lean on.. Talk to those babies in there and tell them to snuggle up in that condo and hang on .

Unfortunately - you can't go by feelings and signs and symptoms in all of this!

I know it's hard not to try to figure it all out. Hang in there though and try not to torture yourself too much!

Thanks Friends,

You're right. I almost regret reading about other people's symptoms and comparing myself or reading the books I do about IF because this is what happens. During March in my fresh cycle, I didn't worry because I didn't know the difference! I was cool as a cucumber. I am going to take myself back to that level of cool!!! It's on! Thanks for your kind words.

On another note, I have to travel this week so I have to give myself PIO shots. I did my first one tonight on my own. I ran track in school and hurdles always intimidated me and I'd hesitate. Well, administering your own shot in the rear is similar but I did it! My DH was supervising to make sure I could do it when I am in Green Bay this week on business!!! I feel like such a grown up all the sudden.

Cheers and have a great night!
Brandi

Wow! I'm so impressed. I just don't know that I could do IM shots on my own.

You're doing great! I really hope the time flies by for you and you get to hear that BFP very very soon

Wow Brandi, that is impresive!!! In all six cycles we did, I never had to give myself my own PIO. I am sure I could have done it . .. but here you have!!!

I noticed you are traveling to GB??!! I go there often, it is about 1 1/2 hours from my house and the nearest good shopping place to us. Have a restful time there.

As far as symptoms, on my most successful cycle I had NONE. keep your chin up sweetie!!

Hey, Brandi, check out the thread on the IVF board about implantation spotting. More BFP women DON'T have the spotting that do.

AND, you're on progesterone, right? Well, that being said, the progesterone will totally take over your moods and how you "feel" - my favorite thing to say, but that I wish I could abide by, is that you can't put stock in symptoms/lack of symptoms during the 2ww when on supplemental progesterone....

Hang in there!

And oh yeah, I think you know that I gave myself ALL of my own PIO shots. It's easy! In fact, unless you enjoy DH giving them to you, you may find you PREFER to give them to yourself!

I was pregnant 4 times.... all 4 of those cycles, I swore it had to be a negative. The few cycles where I "thought" i felt something and had some hope, all were negative. I continued to go on with those pregnancies with little to no symptoms..... so dont' try to read your body too much. Praying this is your month!

Update & Thanks (friends newborn mentioned)

I love you guys! There's nothing like coming home from a hard day at work and hearing all of your great advice and kind comments - man we're lucky to have each other.

Went to give blood again this morning, hoping for a reduction in some of my meds. Not the case - I have to continue 2mg of estrace 3x per day; 200mg of prometrium 4x per day; PIO 1cc 1x per day and the vivelle NOT SO SMALL patches (not vivelle dot but the big ass vivelles!) 4 patches, change every 3 days. Today is the last day of the antibiotic - whew! I had to create a matrix to follow just to keep up! I am glad though, this is all for an amazing cause.

Today on my way out of work I ran into a girlfriend that had a baby girl about 3 months ago. She was also a patient of my RE but conceived naturally after treatment!! Anyhow, she basically shoved the baby at me to hold her. Now get this: I started rocking and my hips-were-a-swaying (sp?) back and forth while oogling over how cute she is. Being PUPO as I am, it really gave me a bright smile and a ton of emotion - all happy. I want that same feeling for all of us ladies, but our own little bundles of joy.

Annialli- I get to GB early tomorrow afternoon for a party at the Oneida Casino. I am in and out in 24 hours! I hear the weather will be nice though and it's over 100 here already - yuck! By the way, I love the UP of Michigan. Especially in the summer!!!

Someday- I cannot believe you prefer to do your own shots! Do you stand, sit, lay down or a combo depending on your mood? I stood so I could watch and guess what, that was dumb! Seeing the size of the needle sucked - but it's over and I will do it again tomorrow night in Wisconsin! Luckily I called the airline to find out I needed a note from the doc to carry needles and drugs. Go figure - when I am on the heroine again at least I'll know. KIDDING!

And all my other buddies, a sincere thanks for being there for me and for all of us really. Lots of love,

Brandi
