Waiting for 3rd Beta - praying for a miracle

Hi everyone.

I posted yesterday that after FET, my first beta on Thursday was 78 and then on Sat. it went down to 75. The clinic is not sure what to make of it. I went back this morning for beta #3. I'm praying for a miracle that my hcg level went up!!!

Has anyone ever seen this happen?? My clinic says it has.... it's hard to know what's going on since my hcg level went down so little, but certainly didn't double. I'm praying for a vanishing twin situation and that my numbers will be up today!!!

I'll let you know once I hear! If you ladies could put in some prayers for me, I'd be so thankful!!!!

Jen

I'm thinking of you and hoping for the absolute best news. I keep thinking of Zara with her first beta of 6. That looked scarey at first, but she seems to have pulled through it. These things just don't always go the "standard" way. I'm going to leave in about an hour to head down to the city to see the gates in the park. Kinda a last minute thing on DH and my part. So, I won't be around when the news comes in. I'll try to check in on you as soon as possible. You will absolutely be in my thoughts. Try to stay hopeful, worrying won't change the outcome and will only make the time pass more slowly.
I'll say a prayer.
Karen

Thanks Karen! Your support is incredible and I truly appreciate it. I've also been thinking of Zara. We haven't heard from her in a while, so I was also guessing things were ok!!

I'll let you know what happens! Enjoy the exhibit!

love, Z

Update on 3rd beta

My number went down to 54. My dr. called personally which is super nice! He feels awful and wants me to take one more progesterone injection and take a 4th beta tomorrow. But it looks like I'm out for the count. Going on to FET #2 probably in March/April.

This sucks! I know you can all relate!!!
Thanks for all your support and Zara, I hope your results are much better than mine!!

Love, Jen

Hi Sharon and Happy Birthday.

We probably posted right at the same time.... see my update right above yours. It looks like I'm done and no longer on the October due date board.

I'll do another FET as soon as the Dr. will let me. He says it'll take about 2 weeks for my hcg to go all the way down. This sucks so much!!! Some things just aren't fair!

Anyway, I hope for all great things for you!

Thanks for your support.

Jen

i am so sorry to hear your news. It is so hard to get a step ahead and be taken right back, not sure if a negative is sometimes not easier to take than a positive. I am glad you have a plan and can do more FETS. I am glad your doctor didn't make you wait all day for those results. I'll keep you in my prayers for understanding and healing.
