Did I understand the RE right??
I was seeing my RE this morning and my lining is a 9. They booked my transfer for Wednesday. Does it take 5 days for the embroys to thaw???? That just seems like an awfully long time. How long did yours all thaw for?? Just curious.

I don't know the reason they make us wait. I went in for an ultrasound monday and they scheduled my transfer for Wednesday. But I am sure their is some rhyme and reason. It takes about 2 to 3 hours. Unless they have to thaw more if some don't make it. Did you do natural or medicated? I did natural? How many are you transferring? What was your protocol?Praying for you.

Thanks for replying so quickly. My protocol was just estrace and I'm to start progesterone tonight. My embroys were frozen after 3 days. They are both Grade 4 and 8 celled. They said they both have an 80% chance of surviving the thaw.
I just called the clinic and now I have to wait for them to call me back.

Hi Nicole-
im not 100% certain-but i guess they try to mimick a natural cycle and give your body a few days to make progesterone after Oing-and then placing the embies back in the uterus about when they would naturally make it there after conception. Wish you the best of luck Z

Hi Nicole,
Are you going to grow your 3 days out to blast? I'm to do a mid-cycle u/s (they say like day 14),then if all's ok there they'll thaw day 17 (mine are 3 day also), let them grow (I hope) and transfer day 19. I'm planning on blast transfer. So, that's like 5 days from my u/s, also. I'm interested to hear what you find out. God bless and good luck with everything! Debbie |

The last time I asked anything about growing embroys to blast was during my last fresh cycle, and they said that they don't do that at that time. I'm not sure what their plan is for my little beans. I can't believe I forgot to ask all this when I was there. I'm such an idiot sometimes. I wish they would just call me back.

Thank you all for all your help. The clinic just called back and said that they won't be thawed until Tuesday. My body is ovulating right now, and they have to wait till the lining matches what stage the embroys are.
Sorry for all the confusion and thanks for the help.
