Dear Babythoughts1,
I am so sorry for you. I read through your post, and I wanted to cry and scream for you. Augh.![]()
I know how hard it is. I am truly sorry for your loss. Only people like us, that suffer from fertility issues, can relate... there are no words to make the pain and heartache go away. I am with you! I am sending you a hug...
I have been reading through the posts on fertilethoughts.com for awhile now, and have finally decided to join. My DH and I have TTC since 2006. 3 failed Fresh IVF's and 1 canceled FET (frosties didn't make it) at one clinic, then 1 failed IVF at another clinic... now, we are now in the horrendous 2WW after a FET. (I know from our failed cycles that a negative beta doesn't get any easier to hear or bare.)
Thank you to everyone that posts... I am very appreciative of all the insights and support you all give on these forums.

babythoughts I am so sorry and I so understand that feeling of just throwing up both hands and for me I was mad at the world. But this is for sure..you cant move forward holding it all so when you can finally let go You can be open to try to recieve again. But right now its ok to be angry and frastrated. This journey is cruel at times just so we can have a little bit of happiness. hugs and a virual glass of wine.
Hello ladies joining the party. In short unexplained. Everything looks great. YET NO BABY. I relate to al of you ladies that have no real reason medically to be in this postion. So neg are doubly hard.Your just stuck with the WTF face at every disappointment. First IVF 3embies 2 grade 1 eight cell one grade two eight cell. BFN. All levels great all things where beyond what is expected for my age. But BFN. and out of 22 eggs 14 fert, 2 made it to freeze at six day.Which is werid btw cause as I read everyone else is at 5 days. Had FEt for remaining two yesturday 5bb. Im trying to be positive but I sometimes fell like Im being taken for a ride.I start to distrust the whole process. We are patients at the mercy of our emotions and desire to have a baby. And they are ther to keep hope alive..till the last penny. But with each story I read I wish us all the ablity to write our victory story .

Oh btw..has anyone heard of this six day blast thing they try to say its better but to me from all I have read its worse. Because you implant on day six ..so that leaves you just 24 hours to get it right..this is when I think Im being taken for a ride. I truly believe 3 day transfers are a pot shot..simply because they have no way of telling that as well as they look on day three if it will go to blast. So Five seems the most resoanable to me. And this Six day thing on the FET's I feel like they need a reason if these dont take to say well.. They where placed on day six so..they must of missed the oppurtunity to implant. Anyone heard of FET that are frozon day six then day five?

i've been reading this thread for a long time so i wanted to contribute my good news! on 3/18 we transferred 2 perfect 5day blasts -- one was about to hatch. i POAS on 10dp5dt and got a BFP. i had some (what i believe was) implantation spotting on 11dp5dt but nothing since. i know FETs can implant later so maybe that's why i saw spotting so late.
my beta was on 3/30 (12dp5dt) and everything looked great. i had my second beta today (15dp5dt) and everything's rising like it should! i go back on monday, 4/5 for my final beta.
i feel no symptoms except extreme exhaustion and a few twinges/pulls. i also seem to have caught a cold. fun times!
i second what many PPs have said - FETs are waaaay easier than a fresh cycle. i was much more relaxed and calm this go around. plus my body felt normal, rather than being all big and bloated with gigantic ovaries.
good luck to e/o about to begin an FET or in the 2WW!

I've enjoyed reading all the success stories here and hope to soon add another one. I just had my first FET today. I had only one frozen 6day blast. It thawed well and the embryologist said it was beautiful. It actually started to hatch. So my fingers are crossed!

Hi Sophie586, I'm so sorry it hasn't worked for you yet. It can be a cruel process. I tried 3 iui's all BFN, then a fresh IVF cycle.. I got a BFP, but it turned out to be a blighted ovum. Then I did my first FET, got another BFP but miscarried at 6w1d. I had a second FET in early March and am now 8 weeks along.. seeing the heartbeat last week made it all worth it. I know nothing is guaranteed, but there IS hope.
