FET longer than Fresh transfer to implant?

Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has heard of a FET taking longer than a fresh transfer to impant or excrete HCG? I read that online and didn't know if there was any validity to it.

    Any info woudl be appreciated!!!

    Thanks! Julie

You know it is your beta buddy - right? Maybe you didn't know when I tranferred. I transeferred 7 days ago today. I see you sent me a private message - I will reply to that now.

Some say that FETs are longer to implant. No idea if it is really true. Some people also say that FETs have lower initial betas, but I dont really believe it.

I knew it was you but I thought you transferred a few days after me but I couldn't remember... I'm 10dp3dt today. My clinic makes us wait a full 14 days from transfer for a FET so there must be something to the later implantation... they wouldn't want to test people early and give them a false negative, I guess??

My clinic also makes us wait until 17dpo (11dp6dt) for FET. For my fresh transfers it was 14dpo.

    WARNING - PG in signature

my clinic doesn't believe in that theory. they test FET's at 14dpo which is the same that they test fresh transfers. when i did my last FET, i had a BFP on an HPT at 4dp5dt. and my first beta was at 14dpo and was 140. it seems like you can have late implanting embryos, whether they are fresh or frozen...

I hate to hear stories like yours Pemmie - cuz' then it makes me think I am definitley not pregnant cuz' I had a BFN on 7dp5/6 day transfer (FET). You tested day 4 and got a positive HPT. Not good news for me. I am not testing anymore until my blood test on Monday. I promised my husband I wouldn't cuz' it was breaking my spirit!

sticky vibes and BFP for us all!!!! julie

I am right there with you. I have neg HPTs all the way up to 15dpo. I have just stopped taking them and my PIO and estrogen. Today is my beta and I just want this over. Just give me the final word so I can move on officially. ;(
