Okay, I for one am not a BIG fan of the 4th of July. I know, I know... I like the BBQ's... but what is the freaking point of people sitting out side for the WEEK before and the WEEK after setting off fire crackers.
ALL DAY LONG I HEAR....
Bang
Bang
wait two minutes...
BANG BANG BANG
Bang
two minutes later
BANG.
Bryce wouldn't go down for his afternoon nap today because of it. Any tips? I know the next couple nights are going to be heck
I MEAN HOW FUN CAN THAT BE? I've done it before, and it's NOT THAT FUN! Would it be rude if I walked over there and stuck a firework up their....
Sorry... had to vent. I mean I'm not over stating it when I say, this happens in my neighborhood ALL DAY LONG for TWO weeks!!! THEY DIDN'T EVEN STOP WHEN IT WAS RAINING TODAY!
I mean, yeah have a little fun but AAAKKK!!! I have a little one that needs his sleep.

Yikes - that is terrible. We will probably have some the day before, the day of and the day after. But, for two weeks???! I feel for ya.
Can you play some cd's in his room to drown out the noise?

That stinks. I have to admit I hate that part of the 4th too. I don't mind the big firework displays that the city or whatever puts on.......but the people in our neighborhood do that too with shooting them off all evening for DAYS. So rude in my opinion. We use a white noise machine in Natalie's room though and she has never noticed the noise. Can you put a fan or something in his room so it will mask the noises?

We either have the AC going or a humidifier in DS's room. There aren't too many on my street usually, and I'm hoping it stays that way. Good luck!

I hear ya on that one. I mean, come on, people get Monday and Tuesday off work? It is kind of a drag on thing, ya know. The fireworks bug me, too, especially because it drives my dogs crazy.

I know what you mean...this post from me is late but I'm still doing it...I put Tori's humidifier on HIGH!! It drowns out a lot of noise!! AND...she's been sleeping till 8 every morning too!! I may have to keep it or invest in a white noise machine!! I think the birds were waking her up at 6 before!!
