Hi,
I have a beautiful black dress I just bought for my little girl's baptism this weekend. I was wondering if the color is appropriate. I have seen others' baptism photos here on FT, and found 3 moms wearing black dresses, but wanted to double check.
Thanks for your help!

You are both more perfect than I could've hoped, more beautiful than I could've dreamed,
more precious than I could've imagined, I love you more than I could've known

I think it would be fine too. Like Jenn said whatever makes you feel good is what you should go with!
It is hard to find something that is going to hide all the drool and spit up!

We just Baptized our youngest son and I wore a black suit that had very slight metalic accents running through the fabric. It ended up being very appropriate. I'm sure you will look wonderful!

You can wear whatever you want....black is the new everything...Well to me it isn't really "new", as it is my favorite color. My bridesmaid dresses were black....my mom wore black to my wedding. Can't imagine that it is not okay for a baptism. Heck, it is AFTER Labor Day for goodness sakes...
