New to the forums but I have a few questions... My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past few years. We have tried multiple rounds of iui with little to no success with two separate doctors in Texas. We believe the next step is ivf but know little about this. We have heard about grants and different financial options and we would like to know what others have done (we are two teachers and we don't have endless amounts of money just lots of love)

Have you tried looking on clinicaltrial.gov? I am participating in a clinical trial in Greece as we speak. I am a learning specialist and my husband is a school teacher. We did not have funding for IVf and this seems like a decent next step. I am getting the same treatment that I had at RMA a very well known clinic in NYC with the addition with Heparin and Prednisolone for my repeated implantation problems. Anyway, I think you should check it out.

Positivity: I just posted to you on your other thread. Didn't see there that you are in Greece. So interesting. Any particular reason the trial is there?

Dr. Harry Siristatidis is a M.D. and Ph.D. and has been doing a lot of work in this area. When I was researching before I came I saw him on a podcast discussing the lack of evidence supporting advocating the use of aspirin. I really think there should be more trials investigating this problem. On clinicaltrials.gov I saw tons of studies all kinds of places like New Zealand and Holland. By the way, the meds cost half as much here and the doctor spends so much more time with me. I really want to get the word out. I think it is so sad in the U.S. , those of us with Infertility many of us to make so many sacrifices just to get treatment due to the financial burden. And even if this does not work, it feels good to get another try. Any ideas about better places I could post to get the word out my ladies struggling out there?
