Guys I am trying to save maximum amount of money on a upcoming IVF cycle….

These are couple of things I was thinking about doing…

1. Have the ultrasound done outside the cliniq ….( usually they are 150 a piece in the cliniq)
2. Have the blood work (lab) done at outside cliniq with same day results. …. (I am thinking quest diagnostics might be able to do it cheaper …)
3. Have the meds ordered from an outside pharmacy ( or buy generic if they have any generic)
4. any other trick to save money?

ask the dr for a discount.
shop meds - pricing varies. ask dr's if they have any donated,some clinics allow this.
not sure about doing ultrasounds outside of the re's office because they may not be as good. If you are spending $$ to do ivf do it right you never want to second guess yourself.

Garage sale - I had family and friends donate tons of stuff to us and we made $2200. Not enough but it helped.

freegaragesale.com - sometimes people donate meds there, I did.

bloodwork I did thru my gyn but it ended up not being covered because I met my max for the year.
