Anyone went to CNY Fertility Center?
I saw on their website that CNY has great pricing for IVF - $13500 for up to 6 fresh/frozen cycles, including ICSI and hatching. It sounds great to us, but we are in CA and the clinic is in NY. Has anyone had experience with this center? Does the plan have an age limit? Any input will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know if you've seen this posted elsewhere, but you might want to contact either Lori or Tracey as they are very informative about the costs, grants, etc. They can help answer any questions you may have. Tracey has helped give us a lot of information as my DH and I are now faced with having to go the IVF route. HTH.

RE: "but we are in CA..."
I'm in CA, my cost is going to be about $14,000. This post on my blog details exactly what this covers. This will include ICSI. For this fee, we get 2 fresh cycles and as many frozen embryo transfers until our eggs are used or we get pregnant. I think this is a great value and I chose my clinic because of how good they were. The price was just the icing on the cake. If you want the name of my clinic, pm me. It seems like there are a lot of cheaper places on the East Coast, but due to having secondary IF, I don't think I want to travel. I also checked out going overseas, but it's still 14 days away from family. But the cost for 1 cycle incl ICSI and assisted hatching, airfare and a hotel for 7 days is only about 7,500-they said they help you get free meds, though. It's important to compare apples with apples and not oranges when doing price comparisons. Many programs don't include the cost of meds or anesthesia, so you need to look at those, too. Good luck to you! |

I don't have experience with the plan, but do with the centre.
I did DE. My coordinator was in Albany. I live in western Canada, so I was extremely appreciative at the fast, efficient and compassionate responses I always received. My transfer was in Syracuse and it is a lovely clinic. The Dr. is inspirational and kind and the acupuncture/massage centre was beautiful and convenient. Good luck with your decision! There are many good Dr.s, clinics and options. I've cycled with women who have gone overseas with good results too. Dana in 2ww |
