Anyone ever get an exception request approved?

I was reading on this site how some people have written letters to HR asking for an exception to have infertility treatments covered. Has anyone ever had this exception request approved? Just curious...I have NO coverage for meds or treatment (just testing to diagnose) and have recently submitted a request letter. Thanks!
