Shared Risk-Disqualifications

I would like to know what are some of the reasons that you may be disqualified for shared risk.

High Day 3 Tests
High Day 10 Tests
# of previously failed IVF attempts
abnormal uterus
Age

It all depends on the clinic. Some are very strict and others are very liberal.

I was denied because of my BMI (Body Mass Index).

Having too many little issues to deal with like endo (mild), previous miscariages, male factor and previous IVF failures (fresh or frozen). At least that was our reson for denial, even though we meet the qualifications listed given. This all depends on the clinic you are going to.

Our program disqualified us for fsh over 10 (mine was 11.5) and also 2 failed cycles.

Does anyone know what the top BMI that would qualify would be? I'm in the process of losing weight, maybe I'll be low enough or able to get low enough hehe.

I think ours was 35, but I'm really not positive. Good luck to you! We were accepted into Integramed's program, so that's our path right now. I'm pretty sure BMI was 35.

I was also interested in knowing why someone would not qualify. I am thinking for me it would be my age, but now after reading some of the posts...I am so surprised. I too, have mod. endo, and DH has vericocle, male factor IF- just seems unfair that they are so strict with the qualifications. I wonder if this applys to a DE cycle? Hmmm....Just so confused, and searching for answers-

I was recently looking at one clinic I was interested in (sorry can't remember which) and it listed having a bmi above 30 as a disqualfication.
