Making money to pay for IVF in SoCal

Hello!
I'm a writer, and I'm currently working on an article focusing on how people in SoCal (esp. San Diego) are finding creative ways to finance their IVF - it's an interesting demographic, because living costs are SO high here.
So, if you live in SoCal, and are willing to post your methods here, please do! You don't have to go into great detail, but just give a general idea of how you're scraping together the funds for IVF. I may send you a private message to learn more information. Eventually, I'll be submitting it to a local magazine - with respect to privacy given to everyone Names changed, etc. (unless of course you want a plug - I have no problem giving those)

Hello! I am responding to your request for an article you are writing about families raising money in Socal for IVF. My husband came home from deployment in July 2007 (CA Ntl Guard) and we have been unable to achieve pregnancy due to male infertility. I started two companies to raise money. One company I have up for sale and hope it sells soon as we are scheduled to begin IVF this month.
