Don't be embarassed at all! I wish someone would have told me to ask when I went through my fresch cycle. I hope you go home with lots of goodies at your next appointment!!

Don't be embarrassed! I donated my leftover meds to my RE several times and ASKED that they please go to someone with no insurance coverage. He assured me they would. I am SURE I am not the only one to do that. And on top of that, I have seen SO many boxes of new meds at the RE's office. Sometimes he will open cabinets and drawers and I just see tons of IF meds! Plus- think of the $$ you have given them in the past! GOod luck! I hope you get something!

My RE has a board that patients post left over meds on for a fraction of the cost- I am in need of some follistim and menopure - I will ask to see if they have any donated - good idea
I also saw a European web site ivfmeds.com that sells a lot cheaper but not sure how you get the prescription to them. |

It's great you asked. I got half of my meds donated to me, so I only have to come up with the other half. This is my 2nd Ivf (FET) and I am pregnant and I am just waiting until 12 weeks and as long as my pregnancy is fine, then I am going to donate my meds also.
We all need to help eachother out and this is one of the best ways there is to do it. |

Oh My!
I totally understand where you are coming from! My partner and I were bickering back and forth as to who should call the clinic to ask. WHAT is our worry for Pete's Sake?! We're already paying tons of money to them, and if they have a bit of medicine that you wouldn't have to fork the money out for - great! The worst they can tell you is No........
I called the other day and the office is very small so I am able to be more honest/open and just told them I felt awkward asking. They checked their stash, and had none. They were going to make a few calls and then get back to me - and told me not to order any medicines until I heard from them. (I have a few weeks still until I really need to order) I totally understand your feelings though......100% Randi |
