Just got my myomectomy booked for the end of August. I'm starting to get a bit nervous over it, but relieved to finally get things underway. I'm going to go through this board to get some hints and tips for before/after the surgery. Will ask any questions I don't see the answers to.

I went to my first RE visit ever and the doctor didn't find anything wrong except for a small 2.5 cm. submucusal fibroid that is acting as a natural contraceptive (lucky me) - his only solution is surgery. I would (in theory) be OK with surgery if he didn't want to prescribe me LUPRONshot a month...

Looking for some advice here...I want to make sure I have/buy the proper clothes to wear after an abdominal myomectomy. So those who have had the surgery, could you please let me know what type of clothing was comfortable in the first few weeks?
