Little, Jope your heartburn goes away!!

I hope I do not jinx myself but I was feeling way better last night and I slept great and feel really good this morning! It's snowing here Lightly but the kind of snow that makes for messy driving. We are stocked on food so we are good. I will be cleaning today, or so I tell myself, lol.

Tricki - Keep enjoying those extra morning hours! Sounds great.

Jillian - Congrats on 36 weeks!! Fantastic!

Country - Glad you enjoyed the shower.

Jen - So glad you're feeling better!

Its's snowing here as well. Finally for the first time in almost a week I can walk. Woohoo! The downside is that with the snow I'm not really tempted to venture outside and slip/slide along the sidewalk, so I'm not sure if I'll go into the office. But I'm craving the adult interaction!! What to do...hmm...
Me - PCOS, DH - Perfect

3 cycles clomid then 4 cycles follistim IUI = all BFN. IVF finally worked!
    Tobin arrived @ 39 weeks on 2/14/11.

    Sept 2012 -
Nov 2012 - natural pg! Due date 7/29/13

Tricki-- Love your dream!! Dairy-cow milk production... So funny because last night I dreampt that I was leaking collostrum everywhere. I feel like my breasts have gotten more tender recently, not sure what that is about. I hope your dinner with the Rabbi goes well. Sounds nice.

Jen-- I'm glad you are feeling better. Know what you mean about "jinxing it" I've been feeling the same way about talking about my pain easing up.

Mum-- yeah about your back!!! Double yeah!! So glad it is on the mend. Was just Skyping with my best friend who is now in New York and she was showing Sammy and me the snow flakes falling out the window. Looks beautiful...

Jillian-- I can't remember why you need to see a perinate? Congrats on 36 weeks. That sure is big.

Country-- Hope your parents are helping you out a lot to get ready, etc. Are they there until the delivery? Or just for a visit. Sorry you have been so busy, hope it is a good busy.

Little-- I've had heartburn on and off, but not too badly. Usually some Tums does it. Bummer that yours is so bad. Must be why you keep throwing up, too. How is the nursery coming?

AFM-- Feeling tired for some reason, but doing OK. Like I mentioned to Tricki, had this funny dream last night where I was leaking collostrum. Don't know why it was collostrum-- especially since that really doesn't leak. You never even see it is so low volume. But in my dream it was yellow and flowing... lol... My middle sister is on her way back to town. She is throwing the shower. It will so great to have her here. Littlest sister has been running around the state visiting her boyfriend (who is from college, but happens to be from California also) and her friends who have already started school. She has to go back to college on Monday b/c of track, which makes me sad... it is so nice for me to have my sibs around. Distractions are soooo good right now. I'll let you all know how the shower goes. Am really looking forward to it. Partly because I simply haven't seen most of my friends in a long long time. A couple people come visit, but most, of course, don't. Everyone is so busy.

The Christmas tree finally came down yesterday and we've started on the organization. But I am feeling really antsy about it. I want it done... and I can't do it.... oh.... for the control-freak-generally-over-active.... bedrest is a challenge. Maybe being so sick for so much of it was a weird mixed bag, part blessing. It certainly distracted me from the sheer FREAKING OUT BECAUSE YOU CAN'T MOVE aspects of it...lol... but, really not complaining. I'm so happy to be beginning to be feeling better. And soooo happy to be getting "there"-- so to speak.

Although-- is anyone else starting to have real trouble breathing? I was saying to DH last night that he should talk to his son and tell him that given that he is dependent on my lungs for his oxygen, he should really think about this thing he likes to do where he shoves his butt into my ribs...

Ah, aches, pains, heartburn, fear of slipping on snow and ice.. we must be in the home stretch!!

Kind of jealous of all of you that are getting snow. We are having a normal winter here, mild accumulation, but my daughter remembers last year and the near record snow fall and can't understand why it hasn't snowed enough to sled or build a snowman. I feel bad for her.

Things are going well. It is funny you are mentioning the heartburn, I woke up today thinking that I haven't needed my tums for a few days. I am sure that will change tonight. We have been invited to one of the other faculty member;s house tonight for a chili party, 3 types... I will probably bring some tums with me... and maybe drink some milk to coat my stomach before going! I am really looking forward to getting out and socializing tonight. My main social outlet is usually with other moms since when we moved here I didn't have a job, so I truly relish the nights when I get out with the faculty to talk about things other than pre-school and such.

My big project of the last few days has been to upload a bunch of CD's. I had uploaded almost all of my husband's music a few years ago when we got him his Ipod. He has since gotten a new one through work, so the old one become mine, so I want to get it filled with my music to bring to the hospital. So I have been putting everything on and going through and trying to pick and choose some music. VERY time consuming but kind of fun to go through old music I haven't listened to since college.. you know, the songs you listened to non-stop at that point in your life! Some of the stuff I am now thinking, why?

Anyway, I will get to personals at another time.

    Have a nice weekend all!

Mul, You just reminded me, I keep meaning to charge my mp3 player.

e, Wyatt dropped so I don't have that problem, luckliy.

Okay, this is going to sound really stupid since I have 2 kids but those of you who have had a baby and went into labor naturally did you have really bad gas type pains? With Talon my water broke and then a scheduled csection so I never just started contractions. Help.

Hi Ladies sorry ive been MIA for so long Ive had a kind of rough pregnancy but things seem to be getting a bit better now. I just finished the baby's room tonight my hubby put together the rest of the furniture and the curtins went up so we are now ready for this little girl to come. I will take some pictures of her room and post them, it turned out soooo cute! My dd who turns 6 on jan 21 has been a bit upset that everything new coming into the house is for baby "Lacey" ....little does she know we bought her a new bed, curtins, wall decorations and shelf all in tinkerbell to suprise her I cant wait to see her face and this way maybe she will sleep in her own room. I have a planned csection for Feb 3 so only a little bit longer to wait I have alot of pressure, and can feel her feet up in my ribs she is one strong little girl. As I mentioned before my dd is turning 6 so we rented a school gym to have her party 25 kids YIKES...I think I may be going crazy and this will take place 13 days before I have the baby Im so glad I have a good hubby and friends to help me with this party so wish me luck, cause Im gonna need it!

Jen I did have that gas pain feeling with my first I asked the dr if it really was gas and he told me that it had nothing to do with it, it was my body getting ready for having the baby.

I hope you are all well and that the snow isnt to bad for everyone we have not had alot here at all.

elena.... so glad you are feeling a lot more perky and the pain has settled......a bit...
yay for cleaning and the christmas tree away.... woohoo thats a really big job to do....
Love your colostrum dream.... someone should write a book with excepts of peoples pregnancy dreams..I reakon some of mine would get me admited into the funny farm...lol..lol...
my parents are here until monday am... then my mother will be back feb15...so babette has to stay in until then.... my mother is actually ok by herself but my father has control freak issues and small child like demands that must be filled now!!... lol.. he is not liking me not jumping at every demand..lol..

follie.... woohoo for getting the nursery done... thats a big job.... how exciting that you have a special surprise for DD... that will certainly make her like the baby...lol... do you have a gift for her from the baby when she is born??
You are a brave woman with the birthday so soon..... gosh how neat that both little girls will have their birthdays close together...
I hope that the rest of your pregnancy goes well for you...

jen.... sounds like your body is well and truely gearing up for labour... You might be holding a baby as early as next week...eeek.... well 37 weeks is term so no problems at least...
Keep us updated on all your pains and cramps

mullinska.... enjoy the adult chatter tonight... a chilli party....YUUUUUMMMMM...... sounds great..yep better have those tums on hand... I hope you have a fabulous time... did you make a bet with DH as to how many people will rub your belly...lol..lol..
uploading the CDs is a huge job...I hope you finish it.... gosh I have not even thought of things like that...mmmm put that on the list...

Mum... yay for the snow... but boo for icey sidewalks... I might be dying with the heat but at least Im not having to worry about slipping on ice.... I hope you stayed put and snuggled in safe and sound...

    trickee...keep up those weird dreams....lol...

grape ... I hope everything is going well with you and irma jr. how is the bladder pain going??

well a quietish day for me... my parents are just starting to leave the now now city restlessness and slow down a bit. I got my father to vacum my car this morning and my mother mopped my floors and cleaned my cupboards..woohoo... then I spent the afternoon watching TV and knitting baby jumpers with my mother... so that was good... I still need a nap...but thats not going to happen...
Ive baked some bread this arvo (in the bread maker) and its roast lamb for dinner... which my parents are cooking...
They have gone for a walk and it is bliss just not having the pressure of talking and answering questions every 2 seconds.... sigh...
I think if we saw each other more frequently then it may not be so bad as boundries and understandings could be set up... but I see them usually once every 15months... so a long time... although with babette I think they want to see her more... but it will always be me going to them rather than them to me... sigh its just the way they think with me...
My father actually offered to buy a lovely woollen blanket which is a big first... so that was nice....
Anyway time for a cuppa.... and to savour the quiet for another 10mins....

Folliequeen! so good to hear from you. When someone goes absent for so long, I must admit, I start to think the worst. So glad things are moving along and it sounds like you are ready! I hope DD loves her new room. My daughter would go nuts for all that Tinkerbell. It is funny that you mentioned the party in relation to the baby's scheduled c. My friend had a party last summer for her daughter, big thing at her house with a bounce house and at least 20 3-4 year olds the day BEFORE she was to be induced!!! Talk about crazy! and it started to pour in the middle so everyone had to rush inside. So you are good!

Country girl, so glad your parents are being helpful. It really makes a difference. If my mom has specific tasks, she is helpful, but when there is downtime.. it is just miserable.

Jen, I did not have really bad gas pains. But a friend of mine did, she was in labor all day but thought it was indigestion from her cookout that she went to.

Elena, I am getting winded so easily, some days worse than others, I guess it all depends on where this little girl is situated. So glad the organization is getting done, even if you can't be doing much of it. Oh and about your dream, I have actually noticed that I have had a little discharge in the shower... so of course I give a little squeeze and there it is, just a little bit! It seems strange for this to be happening.

Mum, looks like you all in NY are getting a winter like we got last year. I hear more for next week too. Be careful out there!

AFM.. almost done with the music uploads, my husband and I have WAY too much music! I have a few CD's in my car I need to get in there, of course those are my favorites!

I managed to get away with no heartburn last night! Not sure how that happened, maybe because I stopped eating even when I knew I wanted more. I am so sore today, lots of being on my feet and not being assertive enough to kick one person out of the really comfortable chair! We got home extra late, but it was nice to get out and talk. The president of the university was there and apparently my big belly was making her very uncomfortable as she was remembering her own pregnancy 4 years ago with twins, and a February birth. That was amusing. Strangely, not one person tried to rub my belly and I was so happy to hear people say how healthy I looked, this belly is all in front. If you saw me from behind, you would never know! Nothing like being told you are all belly! They know how to make a pregnant woman's day!

So, we really like Fiona, but can't decide on a middle name. I had thought of using a flower name since My mother is Violet, my grandmother Lily, Brett's grandmother was Arbutus.. so by picking a flower, we are honoring all of them. I love Rose, and in my husband's buzzed mood last night he says to everyone he wants Snapdragon! crazy man, what will I do with him!

Anyway, need to rest up, family coming for dinner tonight...
