Well, I had my third u/s today (technically the 2nd but i had that emergency one last week). GREAT NEWS! We are 7w4d and the hb was 150bpm and everything is progressing nicely. Everything measured great and looked great too. That ****ed fibroid in my uterus is still there and according to the doc, will only grow, not shrink. He is keeping an eye on it. I am still on 1cc PIO each day, 1 patch every 3 days, 2 estrace pills twice per day, prometrium 2 pills four times per day and finally the **** suppositories - am and pm.
We have another u/s with the RE on the 14th and if all looks ok, he will send us off to our OB. I still don't have any m/s but I have never been more tired in all my life! He did say I could resume light, and he emphasized light exercise tomorrow. So I am really glad to get on the treadmill and walk a bit to feel better. I know it will help my energy level. Oh yeah, during the day I am starving but at night, I have no appetite and have to force myself to eat. Euwwww.
Well, thanks for letting me update and share with you guys. Today I feel a little closer to reality, although I am still terribly guarded.
Hope everyone is GREAT!
Brandi

YAH!!!!! Sounds like a great u/s. I cant wait till we are all past the scary time and can really enjoy what is going on with out the fear. I dont have my next u/s till 7/20 and the doc said if anything was gonna happen it usually does b4 the 9 wk mark so Im still a little cautious. Congrats to you and your family and enjoy the 4th of July weekend!!!

Wow, sounds like things are moving along great for you. You're on a ton of meds! How much longer until you can come off? I'm on 2cc PIO until Sunday. Then I start the suppositories twice a day. I'm also on 2 patches that I switch every Wed and Sat. I'm so dreading switching to the suppositories. How bad is it really? I've heard they're very messy. I have an ultrasound appt next Tuesday at 11. Should I put in that morning's suppository or is that going to mess things up? I don't know how long it takes to dissolve.

Hey Angeliagg,
My nurse gave me the best advice for the suppositories: in the morning, get up 1/2 hour early and put it in and go back to sleep for a while. I wake up a few hours early and put it in and then go back to sleep - it dissolves fine. Then at night, just put it in before bed. Wear a light pantyliner but otherwise, they're not as bad as I thought. This might be TMI but they do cause a bit of odor...I've noticed that lately. It's also 110 degrees here today so that probably doesn't help.
Anyway, best of luck to you. I can't wait to get off some of these meds. Tomorrow is another blood test so hopefully...
Have a great weekend,
Brandi
