Anyone thinking of Halloween yet?

Yeah, I know, I know...it's early, but I LLLOOOOVVVEEE Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. I have no idea what Baden is going to be. But I have a really cute gray velor sleeper with a spider on it for Alexandra. I'm trying to locate a black bow I can put around her head or in her duck fuzz hair.

I figure she'll definately be crawling by then, so a sleeper will be easy for her to move around it. It will also be warm as sometimes Halloween in Indiana can be really cold. As a child, I can remember wearing a heavy jacket over my costumes. And we won't really go trick or treating anyway. Baden can have some candy, but not much. I'm just dressing the kids up so DH and I, plus the grandparents can look at how cute they are!!

Anyone else thinking about this already???

OK, I win the crazy award. I actually bought a costume for Ethan last Novemeber (yes when I will still preggo). Old Navy had theirs on sale so I got it for like 4 bucks. It is a monkey costume with a banana The only thing I worry about is how hot it will be here. I will probably just put it on for pictures

Are you going to take them out trick or treating? I was thinking maybe just pushing him around in the stroller.

I too went to Old Navy, but just last month. She's going to be a penguin. I got her the bunting style costume. We have a little party for the kids in our building.
I also got her an outfit to wear during the day. Its a black romper with a little patchwork Mummy on it and it says, Mummy Loves Me underneath. They had matching socks so I had to get those too

Oh my, those sound too cute!

Alexandra's sleeper was bought for my son when I was pregnant with him, but he was too big for it last year. And it's really more girly anyway, so it worked out well for us.

Nothing wrong with buying clothes ahead of time. I bought all of Alex's Christmas dresses and clothes last year when I was pregnant with her. I bought some really cute dresses for only a few dollars at Babies R Us. And I remember I bought Baden a Ralph Lauren sweater for only $5 that had normally been $30.

We'll go trick or treating, sort of. We live out in the middle of nowhere, so we'll drive and visit the neighbors and grandparents. At daycare, they have a Halloween Parade. They won't be there that day, it's a Friday and they are at home with me that day, but I will probably take them anyway. They go to a daycare that is also a very large nursing home and the residents love seeing the kids dressed up.
