Thanks!!

It still seems a little surreal. We went through alot for Reese (m/c's, surgeries, and 3 IUI's). This time did one IUI and BAM!!! (We did try on our own for 4 or 5 months, too.) But still, it seemed stress free. In large part because the pressure was off. Another child will add to the joy in our home but we could live our lives absolutely content if Reese was it for us (she brings us such total and complete joy). When trying for Reese, every month felt life altering. This time seemed like a hope and a dream, but not an absolute necessity. It made for a completely different IUI experience. (Still glad I only had to do one cycle though, knock on wood).

We are soooooo excited, not just for ourselves, but for Reese too. She LOVES other children and is such a little social butterfly, I think she will love having a sibling.

kmsnj found me posting elsewhere and told me to come over. I've been lurking on this board alot (at least once a week since I last posted when Reese was several months old) but hadn't been posting since wasn't spending as much time on the boards (until IUI started up again). It's amazing how busy one little tot can keep a person. But with kmsnj's invite, I jumped back in. Hope you guys don't mind.

That's great news! It's always good to hear such positive news. We're just starting IF treatments again, and I absolutely know what you mean about how different it feels to be trying the second time (at least so far; I guess if I try for months and months, my opinion might change ). Definitely keep us posted on your progress!

Congratulation! I did the same thing when my dd was 11 months old. We did 1 IUI after trying on our own and the IUI for L was the best cycle we ever had. His betas were high enough that my clinic prepared me for twins since I had 2 folicles. I was happy to see 1 baby at the u/s. The high betas to me ment that he was ment to be!
Congrats again!
