I made these yesterday for my DH's work and they got rave reviews. I just had to share everywhere.

OMG!!! Anything with bacon would be good. I have had dark chochlate with bacon and loved it. I have yet to try the bacon donuts at our local donut shop started by some policemen (it's called Blue Dot). Bacon cheese cakes sound really YUMM!!!!

I tried the chocolate covered bacon when they were sampling it at Whole Foods and didn't love it, but I think it was the type of chocolate they used. I remember thinking, "This should be way cooler than it is." I have a recipe for dark chocolate & bacon cupcakes that I plan to try sometime before this baby is out!
My love affair with bacon has been long-lasting, but it's more intense now that I'm pregnant - I daydream about bacon in foods I never had it in before, like bacon in pancake batter or bacon praline ice cream, etc.!

Fluffy Pancakes Recipe - Allrecipes.com
Those, but fold cooked bacon into the batter and serve with maple syrup or with butter & brown sugar. Sweet Mother of Pregnant Women everywhere, that sounds so good.
With a gigantic glass of milk.

Ss made a bacon/maple cheesecake that he said was delicious. He took it to work and I didn't get to try it though. The thing I remember was that he spent about $25 making the thing and it was only an 8" pan. No cheesecake would be worth that much to me!

Wow that is an expensive cheesecake! I guess it must've used quite a bit of real maple syrup. Mine was less fancy -- regular bacon, store brand cream cheese, and instead of chocolate wafer cookies (those are $5 for a sleeve) I use oreos and scrape out & discard the white filling, lol.

You are my kind of girl!
Yes, it did use real maple syrup, brand name cream cheese bought at full price, $7 bacon, etc. There were some leftovers, such as not using the entire package of bacon or syrup, but his initial cost was really high.

Mmm. It sounds so delicious. And I don't even like maple. I'd eat that though.
Apparently this baby is not as anti-maple as I am.
You know, when a cheesecake turns out right, and is homemade, it's almost always worth whatever cost went into it. There is just such a feeling of CONFIDENCE when a cheesecake turns out right!
