IVF #7 ended in a chemical pregnancy :(

I'm just so so sad, anger, irritated, depressed.... it goes on and on
We just did our 7th IVF cycle, got a BFP but then went into beta hell. 4th beta our numbers dropped drastically. We had 3 PGD'd perfect blasts but back, how the heck did this happen? why did this happen?

I am so so so sorry. Maybe you already have, but you gotta make your re figure out what the problem is that you've been unable to maintain a healthy successful pregancy. I have not been through what you have and I hurt so bad so I can only imagine how you must feel. I personally am making it my mission to figure out what is wrong with me and fixing it so I can have a family. I know I can't bring you comfort but I wish I could. I can't even make myself feel better. I am so sorry and I really hope you find answers. :big hug:

Child/Loss Ment.
Waiting, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I have had two to term pg. and then apparently I developed immune/clotting problems that I didn't have to contend with before. I have yet to be successful and have stopped medical tx. for now due to financial reasons. If you are still young, I urge you to look for the underlying answers whether it be immune, clotting or egg quality factors while you still can. I spent 2 years with my former RE wasting my ins. coverage listening to her and she wouldn't take me seriously. After my loss in 07 I thought I would get pg. easily but it didn't happen after many failed cycles when I finally took matters into my own hands and switched RE's but too late due to my age. Unfortunately things can change with subsequent pg. That's my best advice. I hope you can get some answers. BIG BIG HUGS out to you, your dd and dh.

Heidi, I am sorry your cycle ended in a chemical pregnancy.

When's your follow up appt with your dr? Do you trust your dr to give you a straight up assessment of the situation?

My dr recommended PGS for me but was clear that it's still 50/50% for various reasons (unequal cells, invasion, etc). Yours too?

IF and RPL is hard - and so much is unknown. With lack of success, it would be nice to at least have answers (something!), but those evade me. One month out from my recent loss ("random" genetic?) I continue to grieve as I also continue taking steps for the future.

I also wonder... Why has this occurred? Why does this keep occurring? Will I have success? In what way?

What will time tell?

I try to remember the success I do have ... today, with whatever else. I don't know about you, but that is hard! I am grateful, but gee this hurts.

Hugs in this difficult time,
~S

Ttc-I see you had a ruptured ep. Do you have a remaining tube? I am starting to think that I have some sort of fluid leaking into my uterus even though scans say my tube looks fine aside from the scarring. I'm really starting to wonder. My tube hurts all the time and even though they say it looks ok, I am gonna fight for a closer look. Food for thought I suppose.
