Thanks for posting, great article. I have many of these multifactorial causes, having had 3 failed fresh cycles using different donor eggs! The one thing not mention in this article is Insulin Resistance. This condition is common in women who are as little as 10 lbs overweight. It causes inflammation markers to rise and is treatable with diet, exercise, and metformin.

RJC, do you have any good links or info on how to treat RIF with diet? I'm aldo gonna look up metformin.

I had one unsuccessful IVF, which was considered text book!

Good luck with your next FET cycle. I'm gonna have my first next year. We're taking a break from all the stress that IF can cause!

Hiz_Vessel - It is a stressful ride and sometimes we need the break. Now is the time to take care of yourself and look ahead.

There are several good resources to start with. soulcysters (dot com) Msge board for PCOS has alot of info. IR and PCOS sometimes go hand in hand and there is alot of info about metformin and diet changes. I've been on it for a month and lost 8lbs with little effort.

Because IR is a few steps below diabetes, dlife.com is a great recipe source, along with starkrecipe.com. because you chose recipies by the type of diet needs you are looking for. I also set up a free account with Fitday.com to keep a food journal and track cals, carbs, fats, etc.

And don't forget the fish oil!!! I've been taking 2-3 daily and my cholestrol and trigycerides went from high to almost normal! Other fertility benefits as well!

Take care, have a peaceful break, and good luck in January!
