Recommended time to wait between IVF cycles?

I'm just coming off my first IVF cycle with a chemical pg. I'm curious as to what other REs have advised as the best waiting time before starting another round of IVF. My clinic states that sometimes dr will start the next cycle right away and other times he'll advise to wait for one or two natural cycles to complete. I still have to have my "failed cycle" discussion with my RE?

I'm interested to know what other people's REs have advised?

Also, has anyone jumped right into a new cycle following a failed cycle and had success?

Thanks.

Hi. Im curious to find out the answer to this too. I've only done IUIs so far. Had the talk with my RE about IVF. Get preg while on break d/t cyst, had a m/c last week. I haven't even seen my RE post m/c but the OB said it was a chem preg. Will you let me know if you find out the wait time pls? I have to meet with my RE to find out what's next for me.

PS

How was IVF?

TIA,

Lorie

Our clinic makes everyone wait 1 month between IVF cycles. I asked my RE the reason and he said it's because most women develop cysts from the meds.

My RE said I only need to wait for one month untill next period. But I do know what you are going through as I had a chemical pg my first go around end of May and I'm in the middle of my second one now (3 weeks into it) but looks like another chemical as my HCG levels are real low still. Sometimes I wonder if I went to soon because I was really late with my period and they actually induced it by telling me to take a Progesterone Oil shot, but I only spotted for a day but they said they'd consider that my period and go ahead with the 2nd cycle. Now I'm started to think maybe my body was trying to tell me that I wasn't ready for another one yet and maybe that's why it looks like I'm having another miscarraige. I will be going in to RE this Friday for ultrasound to be sure what's going on, they even mentioned possibe ectopic pregnancy....so if anybody out there has ever had ectopic pregnancy with IVF I'd love to hear about that too. But I guess I'm just saying make sure your body is ready, because I'm wishing now that I should have waited untill my body was back to normal and not forcing period to come, then maybe I would have better outcome than I do now.
Good Luck!
