Pep Talk

Hello,
I was hoping for a pep talk from anyone out there...I have secondary infertility - I am lucky enough to have a daughter - and had no problems getting pregnant with her - it took 2 months! Then, for 3 and 1/2 years after that I've done 9 months of clomid, 3 iui's and now an IVF - all failed. 2 lap surgeries where they found very small amounts of endo - and a septum in my uterus - nothing that should have really interfered with pregnancy - but still no success. My husband's count is just fine - the only thing they have found at issue with me is that one of my tubes occasionally has not flushed. When I was pregnant with my daugther I had hyper-thyroid but my blood tests now come out ok. Almost 4 years of fertility treatments and failure are taking their toll. Any words of support would be much appreciated....

I am sorry I am just now seeing this. I am so sorry, IF sucks and is a ugly monster that lurks upon us and only those of us going through it know.sendin you hugs!! I sure hope you get the +++ you so want.

Sometimes it takes a couple IVFs... I've met some women in a local support group who got preg. on their 3rd IVF. Just read a stat that 85% of IVFers get pregnant by their 3rd time. Don't give up! It could be just around the corner.

I wish you the best of luck this is a very comforting site a friend suggested where birds of a feather can flock together. You are so blessed to have your daughter I hope you remember that every day. I have just completed my second IVF cycle second failure. Male infertility is our problem. No motility and low count. I am 34 years old and have no children. I have no faith or hope either I wish that on no one. I feel like I could crawl in a hole and never come out again. Worse than the failure is the constant hole in my heart of knowing that it is simply not possible and We will never have a child. The hoplessness I feel could consume the Grand Canyon. I cant even accept prayers from people, as I don't believe prayer works anymore. Have you ruled out adoption? Keep writing Keep hoping..... C-Mag
