Devasted!! Needing Advice

I just found out 3 days ago that my first FET failed. I had OHS so I had to freeze all of the embryos. I have unexplained fertlity and I was very hopefully maybe too hopeful. I am emotinally wiped out! I want to continue but each time it fails the disappointments gets heavier and heavier. I am also having so many side effects to the hormones. I cry in the middle of the day with no warning. Starting to get hard to tell if it is because I am so upset or the hormones. Making work really difficult! My DH think I should just be positive and get ready for the next cycle. I fear emotionally I can not take another failed cycle. I just do not know what to do???? Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with a failed cycle?

It is so tough picking yourself up. When I look back at my infertility years, I wonder how we got thru it. All I can say is keep having hope. Don't ever lose site of your goal. I do know our long infertility journey made us much better parents. It's ok to feel sorry for yourself and be sad. Hugs to you and praying you get a quick success soon.

Thank you for the response. Yesterday was a really tough day! Today was a little better. I am trying to take it one day at a time.

It is funny the things people will say to you. Today a parking attendant was making chit chat and asked me if I had any children?
I said "no, not yet."
He said " you're a little late"

I did not know what to say to him. I couldn't believe he said that to me.

I am 33 years old and I look like I am in my late 20's early 30's. I told my DH and he was not interested in my story at all. He just said the man was crazy and told me to let it go.

I am trying to go to bed but I feel like I drank 4 cups of coffee. These medications really do a job on you both physically and mentally.

Gave EVERYTHING a rest for a while. Decided we were good as is for a year. Got accepted into IVF clinical study at RE and couldn't resist one more go of it.

Thank you! I am finally feeling better. We are going to try again with my next cycle. I think the hormones made my disappoinment event more intense! I have finally started to feel like myself again!!

Hi - I just had a failed IVF cycle myself. I started to spot 4 days before the blood test and I had an idea that it hadn't worked even before that. Then, they still wanted me to go for the blood test and when I went in, the phlebotomist saw that I was coming for a pregnancy test ordered by a fertility clinic and she got all excited - I just started to cry. It took several days for me to start to rally - and now - a week later, I'm starting to feel better. It does really take a toll on you - but it gets better with time...take care and good luck with your next cycle.
