First failed injectibles cycle..

Well, got the BFN from the doctor today.

Of course I got the news while I was at work and I had a minor breakdown/cussing fit. Made me feel a bit better.

DH and I have been trying for 3 years..been on Clomid for multiple multiple multiple cycles..then after being referred to a RE and losing 50 lbs..we did Follistim and Ovidrel.

I heard waaay too many times today "this was your first cycle..."...and, it doesn't matter..I still wanted it.

The nurse told me to call when I started my period, then we'd do the ultrasound and see if the doctor will let me do back to back cycles..which..I pray he does.

I admit it was rocky this month because they started me at such a low dosage, but of course they didn't know how I would respond. At day 17 I only had good follicle..so, I'm just gonna think that has something to do with it.

I just wanted to send you a big hug. There is nothing anyone can say that makes the pain of a failed cycle any less. This website is so great because at least there is a group of women who truly understand the pain of infertility.

Thanks so much Penny...I appreciate it.

I go tomorrow for my day 3 ultrasound and I spoke with the doctor today, if all looks good he's going to start me back on Follistim but at a much higher dosage than he started me on last cycle..so..I'm gonna stay positive!

Failed cycles do hurt and anybody who hasn't been there wouldn't understand.

I am sorry to hear about yours....but I hope you have success next time.
