Has anyone ever used a psychic?

I have a good friend of mind who uses psychics on occasion. After my 2'nd IVF attempt I was sooooooo frustrated that I vented that I did not want to try again!!!! My friend practically insisted that I speak with this psychic, as she thought it would give me hope. I just turned 35 in September and my husband and I have been TTC for over 2yrs. My first Fresh cycle I received a BFP, but the baby did not progress and I had a D&C at about 6 weeks. My 2'nd attempt was in October, received a BFN jsut last week, none of the 3 eggs implanted all good quality. To make a long story short I contacted my friends psychic and she told me that the doctors need to check my hormones. Since, I just had my 2'nd cycle I am not sure when I will try again. Maybe after the New Year, but I have told my RE that it is possible that I have a hormonal imbalance that is causing the failed pregnancies. The psychic also said that she saw me pregnant in the Fall next year. Although, it was nice to hear some possible good news may occur next year for me and my DH. I still believe in a lot of prayer and I am trying to keep the faith. I know my response is lengthy, but I hope it helps one way or another.

i was thinking of using a psychic. i just wonder which are the good ones. i have a 17 month old ds from ivf but after 2 bfn from ivf. anyone know any good ones?

jbraman-I am sorry to hear about your failed cycles, I can relate, as I have had 2 failed cycles. My Fresh cycle got a BFP that ended in miscarriage at 6 1/2 weeks and a BFN with my frozen cycle. I am looking forward to my last frozen cycle coming up in the Spring March/April. Using psychics is a gamble. A friend of mine told me about a psychic on Keen.com. Her name is Veruska" "Ver" something like that. My friend has used her on many occasions. She is the person who led me to find out I have a Immune Disorder (high lipo-protein a), because she said that "they" meaning the doctors' needed to balance out my hormones. Come to find out having a blood disorder can affect your hormones. Anyway, I am a spiritual person and personally although I believe people are born with gifts (psychic) gifts I know that prayer and faith has been equally important in me getting over my losses. I hope this info. helps

I have had a tarot reading before. It's different than a psychic but alot of the things she said were VERY accurate and came true as she predicted. But I think you should get a reading every once in a while because I don't think they can predict too far ahead into the future. The reading is based on your aura at the time of the reading. I have been thinking about getting another reading done but I haven't found anyone in the area. I had my reading done when I visit family in Cali.

I know this original thread is a little "outdated", but I had to reply! I have been to a psychic once, it was about 10 years ago, a friend wanted to take me for my birthday, of all things, and I agreed. I thought it would all be for fun and a good laugh.

The psychic let me record his reading. At the time, I simply thought that it was entertaining. But LET ME TELL YOU.. he hit the nail on the head about EVERYTHING.

He told me how I would meet my DH, what he would look like, when we would meet, etc.. He told me about my family, and my "future family", he told me about world events, past events... etc.

Believe it or not, he told me that I would have TWIN BOYS!!! And, as you can see by my SN, I have twins..... and they're boys!! He went into detail about their births ( SO accurate) and their lives all the way up until their college years.

I wish I had all the time to tell you all the details.. but it's crazy how much of what he told me has come true. Now, my boys are only 2, so we'll have to wait and see how accurate the rest of it is... but it's all been VERY interesting so far, to say the least!
