1st IVF cycle and crazy beta #'s, still failed

Has anyone ever heard of such a crazy cycle...
My first Beta 14 dpt very low- 10
17 dpt it went up over 1,000
22 dpt it plunged to 1 , is this possible or does it look like someone made a mistake somewhere.
I just dont know what to think, my husband and I were so excited when it went up over 1,000, we were sure this was it and we were finally pregnant!! Both overjoyed with excitement we went on to share our great news with the families.Now we found out yesterday we are not pregnant at all. I am beyound heart broken. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Please help

I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out that our 1st IVF cycle failed and am devastated.

So, your Beta numbers do not sound right at all. They should be doubled every two days and the jump from 10 to 1,000 isn't right. Someone may have made a mistake. We're all human and it does happen.
