Fresh Cycle after failed FET

I am looking for some support. I start taking BCP, so I think that by the end of June or beginning of July will be my transfer...anybody in the same boat?

I am kind of in the same boat. I am doing my first fet after my fresh cycle failed. I am scheduled for transfer on June 30. I am really nervous about this. At least when I got my BFN from my fresh cycle I knew that I had a few frozen embies to try a fet, if this does not work either..........oh Gosh, I don't even want to think about that unless it happens.

Best of Luck to you----

Brisona123,

Think positive everything will be OK, you will see. FET procedure is much easier than fresh one. I also had a FET at the beginning of April-06, but it failed. Now I have to start all over again. I am also a little bit nervous because this will be the last one since I am with share risk and this will be my 3rd attempt. This medical condition is very expensive as you now and we have expend a lot of money since I had also to do 4 surgeries prior to IVF (2Myomectomy, 1 Laparoscopy and 1 Hysteroscopy) and no insurance to cover.Good luck to you and I hope we will keep in touch.

fresyr--

You did the shared risk program? Is it expensive? I am thinking about looking into that if my fet does not work. The clinic I am going to now does not offer any type of shared risk programs, but I know there are several in the Chicago area that do, plus, I think the clinics in Chicago have better success rates than the clinic I'm currently at. I think that shared risk sounds like the way to go for people that do not have insurance coverage. You said that they covered 3 cycles? Do they cover fet's also?

Hoping and praying for a miracle

Sonja,

I am on share risk program, for my experience I think is worthy. I paid 17,500.00 and I am currently on my 3rd and last one. When I first signed they just offered 3 attempts which can include frozen cycles too, but I read someplace (don't remember where) that now they offer 4 attempts for 18,000. I heard also that Chicago infertility clinics are very good. Unfortunately I am in Florida ans stuck with my center.
I wish you the best of luck and keep praying...All is possible with faith.
