cramping in bewtween bms

my dh and I have been doing the every other day thing all week. I have been having mild cramping and am wondering if this is just bcuz of bms more often or something else? Last night the cramping was a bit more intense and my vag. was very senstive and seemed a bit swollen. I wonder if i might have o late on not realized it! So again this morning we bms just incase i did.Has anyone else felt these symptoms? I'm on cd 19 today.
