Sweetiepie: That pattern of bleeding is fairly common with endo. Did it change after your lap?

    Hi sweetipie,

As Whitney said, bleeding like that is common with endometriosis. Your success with IVF depends on any scar tissue you might have, but lots of women with endo go on to have successful IVF cycles.

    Best of luck to you!
    Kim

    Hi!
Thanks Whitney n Kim for ur support.
Whitney u asked me whether the pattern changed after the lap. It did not change even after the lap. I have a problem of bleeding at the time of ovulation.
Does this pattern of bleeding disturbs the ovulation?
    Please help.

Are you charting your basal body temperature? With irregular bleeding, it is possible that you might not be ovulating.

    Hi!Kim,
I am not charting my BBT right now, but can you please tell me then why am I experiencing bleeding at the time of ovulation? Will I ovulate, if I go for IVF n take medications for superovulation, if I am not ovulating now?

    Hi sweetipie,

Without charting your BBT or using ovulation prediction tests, it is difficult to say whether you are definitely ovulating or if you ovulate at a different time during the cycle. Of course, only a doctor could answer those questions for certain. IVF involves egg retrieval, so you don't want to ovulate them, but should produce follicles for the retrieval. Did a reproductive endocrinologist (RE) do your lap? Are you currently seeing an RE?
