SEVERE Pain Endometriosis and Cysts Again!

Hello,
I have been suffering with Endometriosis and Cysts for Five years. I had Laparoscopy 06/08 Diagnosed with Stage 4 Endo, Right Tube Blocked and Removal of two Chocolate Cysts.

For the past few months, I began to feel weak, crampy, tired etc... A few days ago I was woken from my sleep in EXTREME uncontrollable pain for 3 hours.

I went in to see my RE and he did an Ultra Sound and found that the Endo was back and possible Cysts. I am now waiting on an MRI to confirm the results. My RE mentioned to me and my DH that surgery was in my future again and now TTC was on hold. HELP! Any advice?

I am so tired of this. Endometriosis and Cysts have become a nightmare for me. The pain was so bad! Never in my life had I ever felt pain like that before. It seems that the pain got worse since the last time before my surgery and that was bad. After my last surgery my obgyn mentioned to me that getting pregnant soon would be beneficial beneficial because a Hystoretomy was in my future.

Secret, I am so sorry for your pain...hugs!

I also have endo, don't know what stage...had a laparascopy in 04/09...never knew I had endo, no pain or anything else to suggest that something is wrong.

I hope your pain resolves soon and you're back on your way to ttc.

I'm so sorry...it sounds as if you may have had a cyst rupture. The pain from that can be awful! Endo is a terrible disease...it steals so much from our lives.

I think surgery is most likely the right direction as your doctor suggested. Another lap perhaps to remove as much of the visible endo as possible and then you might want to ask your RE about treatment with Depot Lupron to shrink any remaining endo before attempting to conceive. This will help boost egg quality and improve uterine lining as endo can effect both of those issues also.

Question what made you realize you had endo the first time. I was told I have hydros on both tubes, but i have been trying to figure out this insane lower abdomen pain, and now wondering if its more.. I have regular periods.. No u/s has been done... maybe i should get one done...
